It's understandable why people are staying with their parents - crises and a pandemic hit young people hard. But the implications of this might be seen only in a few years. There is a risk of later maturation and staying in a prolonged infantalized state where somebody is taking care of your dirty clothing and dinner. Building skills you need for adult life - as organizing your private life - happens later, which is not beneficial for anything at all.
